Hope Church is an "elder-led" church.  We believe in a team approach to leadership.

Additionally we have a robust volunteer team of leaders who oversee various aspects of our church community.

  • Dan Alban, Teaching Pastor

Dan Alban serves as the teaching pastor of Hope Church. Dan attended Word of Life Bible Institute, Lancaster Bible College and received his Masters in Religion from Liberty University. He has been serving in youth and worship ministry since 1996. He is married to Beth, his best friend, and they are the proud parents of Gavin, Nora, Lizzie and Silas. He is a passionate Philadelphia sports fan, avid barbecuer and an unapologetic technology nerd. Contact Dan at dalban@cthope.com

  • Tom Ingala, Executive PastoR

Tom Ingala serves as the Executive Pastor at Hope Church. He came to the church in 2001 as the Youth Director and a few years later transitioned into a pastoral role. He is married to Sarah and has two children, Amarylla and Ryan. He roots for the Red Sox, Redskins, and Celtics and once delusionally dreamed about playing professional basketball. Now he just plays basketball in a men's league. Contact Tom at tingala@cthope.com, or simply click on his picture.

Mishael serves as the interim Children's Ministry Director at Hope Church. She is a Certified Child Life Specialist and graduated with her Masters in Child Life and Family Centered Care from Wheelock College in Boston. Mishael has a love for Jesus and a passion for working with children and families. She doesn't care about watching sports, but absolutely loves photography, lights, fireworks, jokes, going on adventures and skateboarding. Mishael believes play is for everyone, not just kids! Contact Mishael at mdeighton@cthope.com, or simply click on her picture.

Ron Bailey came to Hope Church in 2014. He is married to June and has two daughters, five grandchildren, two dogs, four saltwater fish, and one cockatiel. He roots for the Giants, Red Sox, but mostly is a huge NASCAR fan.  He loves to read at the beach, work in the garden with June, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loves the spirit of love and outreach at Hope and desires to see the fostered and championed.

  • David BLACKweLL, Elder

David Blackwell has been an Elder at Hope Church since 2006. He is very involved in missions and has dedicated his life’s work to the relief of pain and suffering (both physical and spiritual) throughout the world (John 10:10). David is happily married to Audrey and has two children, Paul and Rachel. In his spare time, David likes to read, watch movies and bike. Someday, he would like to be a golfer, but these days, he takes long walks on the golf course looking for his lost ball and getting his money’s worth on golf swings.

  • Greg Chrin, ELDER

Greg Chrin joined Hope Church in 2012 after moving to East Hampton from South Jersey. Greg is married to his best friend Sarah and has four wonderful kids, Cam, Abi, Colton and Amelia. He has a heart for helping those in need in the community and around the world. One of his great joys is seeing how Hope Church serves those in need. Greg spends his free time with his family golfing, hiking and traveling while wasting his time rooting for Philadelphia sports teams like the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers.

  • DAVID Felgate, ELDER

David Felgate serves as one of the elders of Hope Church, but gets paid to be a software engineer. He was a computer geek before being a geek became cool, and now has to find new ways to be unfashionable. He first joined Hope Church as new believer in 1977. He is married to Terri and has two step-daughters and two grandchildren. He roots for both the Yankees and the Patriots, because living in central Connecticut means you're free to chose New York or Boston, or both.
